Singh, M.D. has served as Chairman of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital since 2012 & currently serves as Chairman of the Cardiovascular Medicine Service Line for the Northwest Region. Since his arrival, Dr. Singh has played an integral role in reestablishing Lenox Hill as a leading center for cardiovascular medicine in Manhattan. Dr. Singh came to Northwell Health from Columbia University Medical Center where he served as the Director of Cardiac Interventions and Cath Lab Operations and the Associate Director of Acute Coronary Syndrome. Dr. Singh’s academic appointments and clinical committee memberships include Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine and member of the Lenox Hill Medical Board, Credentials Committee and International Services Committee. His professional memberships include the American College of Cardiology, Society of Angiography and Intervention, Bronx Medical Society and New York Medical Society. Dr. Singh completed his undergraduate education at Franklin and Marshall College and received his Medical Doctorate at Meharry Medical College School of Medicine where he was also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He did his residency training in Internal Medicine at New York Presbyterian-Columbia; where he was awarded the Residents Research Award, and went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiology at Drexel University College of Medicine and a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Singh grew up in Maryland and currently resides in Manhattan with his wife and four children.
